Important Shit Before the Champagne Hits

Hey beautiful people! Before we get to the champagne-popping and dancefloor-grinding, here’s the lowdown on how to survive (and thrive) during our wedding weekend in Stanley, Idaho. Buckle up — it's going to be hot, high, and hilariously unhinged (in all the best ways).

🧢 Weekend Housekeeping (Let’s Keep It Cute & Functional)

Weather: It’s the alpine desert, baby. That means scorching days and chilly nights. Bring that sexy sunhat, shades, portable fan, nipple tape, or whatever else keeps you cool and collected. Seriously.
Dress Code Vibes: Be fabulous, but comfort trumps couture. If you’re sweating like you’re at a Beyoncé concert in the Sahara, you’ve gone too far. Be breezy. Be bold. Be barefoot if you want.
Transport Reality Check: There are NO Ubers, no Lyfts, no taxis. Zero. Zilch. Nada. You will have to flash some leg (or more?) for a hitchhike if you miss the bus. So please — for the love of all good things and cold beer — be on time for all shuttle pickups. Otherwise, you’re S.O.L.
Party Math: Stanley sits at 6,290 feet above sea level. Translation: 1 drink = 3 drinks. Hydrate like you're pre-gaming for the Olympics. Chug water between cocktails or risk becoming that wedding guest we wheel home in a wheelbarrow.
Cell Reception: Spotty AF. Stanley has it. Outside of town? Good luck. Send your "I'm alive" texts in advance.
Wildlife at Dusk: If you’re driving during dusk, you might meet an elk... through your windshield. No one wants that. Proceed with caution.

Rodeo Schedule

(it is our first rodeo…and our last)

Time: Hosted Party from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Kasino Club - Downtown Stanley
Attire: Flirty Western, street-dancing chic, or whatever lets your inner cowboy/cowgirl/cow-person out.

What’s going down:
Drinks, heavy apps (yes, there’s food), and a boot-stompin’ good time. Sorry, friends, no shots today!
Live music and dancing in the street, because nothing says “welcome” like a good ol’ street dance!
What to bring:

WHAT TO BRING:
ID – You'll need a wrist band and a stamp to get drinks on the Koffler tab. No stamp, no sips.
That wild western energy – Bring hugs, hip shakes, hoots, and hollers.
Layers – Maybe It cools off fast after dark. Think "hot during the hoe-down, chilly after the slow jam."
Getting there: You're on your own, cowpoke! But if you're staying in downtown Stanley — good news - everything’s walkable. Or at least stumble-able.

Thursday, July 24: Welcome Party & Street Dance Throwdown

Evening Welcome Party at Kasino Club
Theme: Wild Wild West | Old School Western Saloon
Food: Cocktails & Heavy Appies
Attire: Wild Wild West (whatever that means to you…assless chaps and nipple tassels encouraged)

Heads up: NO cell reception at Sunbeam. Absolutely none. If you need to be reached for an emergency or need to call out for an emergency, you’ll have to use a landline like it’s 1997. That number is: 208-838-2326.

🚍 1:45 PM - RAFTERS’ BUS LEAVES
Where: Meet at Danner’s Cabins (11 Wall Street, behind Kasino Club)
Don’t be late. There is NO alternate transport. We mean it. It’s a 20-minute bus ride to Sunbeam

You’ll raft, then roll straight into the BBQ — no showers – other than bathing in the river.

What to bring:
Swimsuit, water shoes (those that can’t fall off your feet), sunscreen, sunglasses, towel
T-shirt for sun protection (or if you’re shy about the nips)
Change of clothes for the BBQ — think cute but casual, with an extra layer in case we that evening alpine chill.


🚍 5:15 PM - NON-RAFTERS’ BUS
Same pickup spot (Danner’s Cabins). Leaves on the dot. No bus = no BBQ = sad stomach. It’s a 20-minute bus ride to Sunbeam

🍖 5:30–8:30 PM: Hosted BBQ at Sunbeam
Come hungry. Come thirsty. Come ready to celebrate with river hair and BBQ sauce on your shirt.

🌌 8:30 PM: Buses Return to Stanley
From here... you're free! Hit the bars, find a bonfire, or do Zac’s fave: grab a beer and head up to the Stanley airport hill for some next-level stargazing under the Sawtooth Mountains. (We’re talking “make a wish every 15 seconds” type vibes.). Epic

Friday, July 25: River Rafting & BBQ Feast at Sunbeam

Afternoon white water rafting followed by BBQ dinner at Sunbeam
To our 95+ rafters…we’re looking forward to journeying down the river with you. For those that would rather stay dry and keep your feet on solid ground, enjoy a beautiful day in Stanley, ID by hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, or sitting back and pondering the Sawtooth Mountains with a cup of coffee. Then, plan on joining the rafting group for the BBQ dinner at Sunbeam. Transportation will be provided.

It's go time. Bring your hearts, your hydration, and your party pants. Sun’s out, vows out. **Our ceremony takes place during the hottest part of the day—**and there’s not much shade to save you. Dress smart, light, and cool (literally and figuratively)

☀️ 4:00 PM – Shuttle Pickup Begins
We’ll scoop y’all up from your lodging and shuttle you to the Stanley Meditation Chapel. It’s a 10–15 min WALK UPHILL if you decide to skip the shuttle (bless your glutes).

What To Bring:
Love, love, and more love. Your cutest sun hat, sunscreen, fans — whatever keeps you cool and ceremony-ready. We will provide parasols for everyone. Heels? Don’t do it.

💒 5:00 PM – Ceremony
Tears. Vows. Mountains. Magic.

🍸 6:00 PM – Cocktail Hour @ Mountain Village
Bubbles, booze, and bonding.

🍽 7:00 PM – Dinner
Fuel up — you’ll need it.

💃🏽 8:30–11:00 PM – Music & Dancing
Bring your A-game. No wallflowers allowed.

And then... STUMBLE HOME (wink wink)
The bars are nearby, the vibes are high, and the memories are just getting started.

Sunday Funday at Redfish Lake
Let’s wrap up the weekend the right way—on the beach, under the pines, with a drink in your hand and good people all around. Here’s what you can look forward to:

A crystal-clear mountain lake that looks almost too perfect to be real 🌲💧
Bloody Marys. And then more Bloody Marys. (We’ve got water, snacks, and light bites too, don’t worry) 🍅🍸
Pontoon boat rides to the far end of the lake and back—like a lazy river, but way cooler 🚤
Chill music, sandy games, and all the lakeside lounging your heart desires 🎶🏖️
The final gathering of the weekend.

📍Location:
We’ve reserved Day Use Spot A01 at the North Shore Picnic Area on Redfish Lake, just 15 minutes south of Stanley.

We'll be officially hosting the fun from 12pm to 4pm, but feel free to roll in earlier and stay as long as you’d like (we have the spot from 6am–8pm). The Redfish Lake Lodge is just a 6-minute walk away and 100% worth the stroll—grab a drink, rent a paddleboard, or just take in the views. Spend the whole day at the lake and enjoy!


🚗 Getting There
You are on your own for transportation (no busses this time around). Heads up—cell service gets very spotty near the lake. Download this dropped pin before you leave Stanley so you can find your way without drama:

If the pin fails you, don’t panic—just follow the signs to “North Shore” once you arrive at Redfish.

The North Shore Lot fits about 20 cars max. If it’s full, try these backup options:
  • Visitor Center Parking
  • Trailhead Lot
  • Redfish Lake Lodge Lot (then take the 6-minute beach path walk to join the party)
Note: There is no parking for RVs, buses, or motorhomes.

Bring your towel, your sunglasses, sunscreen, and your best stories from the night before—we’ll take care of the rest. 🌊☀️

When we started dreaming about our wedding, we knew the most important piece was getting to share and celebrate this milestone in our lives with all the people we love the most...YOU! Please join us for an outdoor, adventurous weekend in the Sawtooth Mountains filled with all the joy, fresh air, beautiful scenery, dirt roads, light beer, music, and LOVE that your hearts can handle. Stanley, ID is not an easy town to get to and its quite a long way away for most of you – so we’ve done our best to put together a weekend itinerary of unforgettable mountain town experiences – all of which are within walking distance or a short shuttle ride away.

 As we continue to make our dream wedding a reality, there are a few important things we’d like to ask of you:  

-Please RSVP and let us know if you are able to make it or not.

-Stanley, ID is a very small town with very few accommodation options. We’ve done our best to put holds on as many cabins and rooms as we can and they are all available for you to claim. These holds get released to the public on Jan 1, 2025 – so we highly encourage you to claim your cabins before then. We’ve provided you with accommodation details and reservation links further down on this site.

As we mentioned earlier on, there are very few accommodation options in Stanley, ID and they book up very quickly and far out in advance. The good news…we’ve been able to put temporary holds on a bunch of our favorite spots in Stanley for our wedding guests! These temporary hold blocks are being held under under “Koffler/Campbell wedding. We have these blocks until February 1st, 2025 – so please call and make reservations prior to then. After Jan 1, the general public is also able to book these cabins. Please reference “Koffler/Campbell wedding” when booking so they open the room for you. Notes on Stanley, ID

Stanley is remote with limited cell service and amenities. We suggest hitting up a grocery store in Boise or Ketchum before arriving (if you need anything special). There is one general store in town! There is WiFi and cell service in the town of Stanley, however there is no cell service leading into and out of Stanley. It's an epic opportunity to turn off your phone and reconnect with the wonderful natural world around you. 

GETTING TO STANLEY IS NOT EASY. IT IS A DIFFICULT DRIVE FROM BOTH THE SUN VALLEY AND BOISE AIRPORTS. THE ROADS ARE CHALLENGING AND HAVE DANGEROUS AND WINDING MOUNTAIN PASSES (NOT INCLUDING ALL THE WILDLIFE ON THE ROADS IN THE SUMMERTIME). PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS DRIVE AT NIGHT.
